What happens after the 14-day trial? +
At the end of your trial you'll be asked to choose a plan and enter payment details. We'll send a reminder a few days before your trial ends. If you choose not to continue, your account and all data are retained for 30 days before deletion.
Does the annual plan auto-renew? +
Yes, annual plans auto-renew at the end of the year. We'll email you 30 days in advance as a reminder. You can cancel at any time from your account settings before the renewal date.
Do clients ever have to pay? +
Never. Clients are always free on BuildSync. If a PM or contractor invites you to a project, you can view your schedule, make payments, and message your team at no cost — no credit card required.
What counts as an "active project" for PMs? +
An active project is any project that isn't archived. You can archive completed projects at any time to free up slots. Archived projects are read-only and don't count toward your limit.
Is there a contract or commitment? +
No contracts, ever. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time. Annual plans are paid upfront for the year — if you cancel early, you'll retain access through the end of your paid period.
